Note:
It is the responsibility of the caregiver/agent to ensure that all documentation is completed to enable the child to attend school.
Insurance
All international students require medical and travel insurance. Please click here to find a recommended provider for students.
Accommodation
Under New Zealand Ministry of Education regulations, all accommodation for international students must be approved by the school prior to completion of enrolment.
If parents have nominated caregivers to look after your child during their enrolment at Kohimarama School before your child moves into the caregiver's residence, the school Principal or a nominated representative will perform a Police Vetting of the caregiver, as well as all adults over the age of 18 residing at the address. Additionally, the representative will visit the home and interview the caregivers. We can arrange homestays for international students in years 7 and 8, subject to availability.
Where students live with their parents, responsibility for the welfare of students rests with the parents outside of school hours.
